Sorrows Flight

I am naked and skin

Dissolving into the cracks

That lead me back

To a tiny casket

A love turned black

I begin to lose sleep

Just like back then

An ever haunting fear

It will happen

Again

Then…I breathe

I have no control

Pretending I do

Has worn me thin

I look at my youngest

Joyful to the fullest

Her magical essence

Shifts my perspective

She transforms

The pain in our faces

For I still have

Three precious angels

Though they may be

Flying

In different spaces

Bring Me

Bring me your good vibes

Bring me your silkiest rope

Let us tie our dreams together

And fly our kites of hope

Bring me your pureness

Bring me your love

Let us coo songs of kindness

Like the friendship of a dove

Bring me your hand

Bring me your touch

Let us start a poetic parade

Of new found romance

Bring me your eyes

Bring me your heart

Let us bathe head to head

Like a fire resuscitating

…what has been dead

Revolutionary

Seven steps toward the sun

Seven inches will reach the end
Seven seconds..
Is when I let go and run
Too foreign is the face of the reflection
The haunt of
“Is this what I really want”
Screaming like an old song
Or a familiar scent
I want to be like a reed in the water
Broken from robotic commitment
The yes and no’s of behavior
The falsetto of mediocre
Shatter me into the wild
Carve me out and into a sculpture
I will break it apart
And sprint even further
From the table you’ve set for my future
Don’t you see?
I will never live there
Today is already the sleeping tomorrow
And I am young in the water
What you have predestined
Is not for me
Don’t you see?
You don’t even know who I am
I am no longer your child
I am a revolutionary woman
Without a mother
Without a father
