I disobeyed you

I disobeyed myself
Oh their so disgraced
Oh their so devastated
I’m the mud on their pretty faces
Little angel left with the devil
I’m higher than heaven
I’m higher than ever
I followed my gut
She said it sounded fun
So I run and run
Rules just feel like a skin tight dress
And I want to be comfortable
I just want to be myself
And all the anger and all the sadness
Makes me learn that life is hopeless
So I disobeyed you
I disobeyed myself
Maybe it’ll make me die
But it could make me better
