Fall

It is the season again
comin like a freight train
bellowing echoes of my screams
the night heaven took my daughter from me
Summer fades into crimson colors
and the bleeding leaves
into rain drops
more like pellets upon broken skin
the memory of her penetrates
crooked faces
exchanging melancholy composures
as we weep over death carved into stone
this autumn
rolls on like tumbleweed
ready to catch fire
burning me alive
God i just want to be with my daughter
